HOW DOES THE PLASMA PEN WORK?
The Plasma-Pen works with a modern plasma technology. Gas from the environment is converted into electric arcs and used for treatment. This application is gentle to the skin and can treat selected areas of skin very precisely and selectively. The skin outside the area to be treated is protected. This is a great advantage over surgery or laser treatment. For smaller skin areas, immediate treatment is possible. An anaesthetic cream is completely sufficient for the treatment. After the treatment the skin heals quickly if a special care routine is followed. After only a few days the results are visible: the skin looks fresh and well cared for. As with most procedures, the visible results can vary from patient to patient.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT PROCEED?
After cleaning the skin, an anaesthetic cream is applied to the areas to be treated. This is followed by an application time of about 30-60 minutes. The skin can then be treated. After the treatment, Cicadiane cream is applied to promote healing. We also recommend this for care at home. In addition, SPF 50+ sun protection should be used for 4 weeks.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SKIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TREATMENT?
At first the treated skin area resembles a graze. The following day the skin may swell a little. One to two days after the treatment, crusts or scabs form, which must not be scraped off under any circumstances. After three to four days the crusts fall off. For smokers, the healing process can take a little longer. Despite the correct implementation of the treatment, there are still risks.
FOR WHICH AREAS IS IT SUITABLE?
An eyelid lift can rejuvenate the appearance of the eye area for years. The skin on the entire face, neck, décolleté and body (flabby belly after pregnancy) can be tightened with targeted "shrinkings". In addition, the ions of the plasma pen treatment favour the absorption of active ingredients (hyaluronic acid, collagen...) during and immediately after the treatment, which additionally nourishes and hydrates the skin. Scars caused by injuries, operations or acne scars can also be reduced quickly and painlessly. Casual protruding warts can also be removed.
